Introducing the heart of Vondell Designs

My name is Vondell Cummings. I've always loved creating beautiful things, so when a friend introduced me to jewelry design - I was hooked! 

I soon incorporated metalsmithing into my designs. My inspiration comes from the stones and materials I use.  Their color, feel, texture and shape tells me exactly what to do with them.  I am also inspired by other things, such as a mood, a great song, or a simple sunset.

My personal philosophy has always been to seize the moment and enjoy life's blessings!  I feel that jewelry says more about a person's inner spirit than one can imagine.  It can projects one's emotions without saying a word.

My ultimate sentiment is to ensure that each piece will evoke a great feeling and personal expression.  I believe that every piece of jewelry in and of itself, is a piece of art. Whether given as a symbol or love, a token of appreciation, a sign of commitment, or a simple indulgence, each piece signifies a special moment in time.  I want to create that piece that will inspire such moments.
